4Candles UK offers its candle making materials at the best possible prices; we also set fair postage prices that reflect the actual handling, packaging and shipping costs of each item. All our deliveries up to 1kg are carried out by Royal Mail. The pricing is weight based. The basket will calculate the weight and show the cost at checkout. Up to 1kg is sent by Royal Mail (Not EU) - Over 1kg is sent by Courier Service.
We will despatch your order within 2 working days (unless the order is delayed due to waxed wick)
Express Service is given priority over Economy Service orders.
Orders with wick from the waxed wick page may be delayed. Details of the length of the current wait are on the waxed wick page. Orders with a lot of waxed votive or tealight wicks may also be delayed.
Orders placed up until 12.00PM will be made ready for despatch the same day unless there is waxed, votive, or tea light wick included in the order which may cause a delay. Royal Mail collects the packets at 3.00PM, we use a tracked 48 hour service unless you choose the Express service which includes the 24 hour tracked service (The 24 and 48 hour services are not guaranteed by Royal Mail); Express Service orders are always given priority.
Orders placed up until 12.00PM will be booked for despatch the same day unless there is custom waxed wick included in the order which may cause a delay. At very busy times Economy Service orders may not be despatched sameday. Couriers collect the packages at 2.00PM and in most cases will deliver the packages the next working day; Express Service orders are always given priority over Economy Service orders. Saturday deliveries are selectable from 2pm Thurday to 2pm Friday.
We use DHL, DPD, and Parcelforce for courier deliveries. You will receive emails with your package's tracking details. SMS texts are also available with the courier orders but you must leave your mobile telephone number (At the bottom of the checkout page). We will always try to use the courier you have selected to deliver your order; there may be circumstances where we are not able to do this. We then reserve the right to change the courier. We will only change the courier if it enables us to dispatch your parcel sooner. If you have a problem with your delivery please call our helpline and we will do all we can to help.
