Inpex a UK based company makes candle making wax dye flakes for craft and hobbyist candle makers,
the dye can be added to small quantities of wax giving a reliable and consistent colouring solution to candle makers.
Inpex candle wax dye has enjoyed a lot of success across the UK and EU and we will add more stock colours as they become available.

The Inpex Deep flakes are 7p per gram, order over 50g of a colour and it is then 5p per gram. If you order 4g or less the price is 15p per gram.

How To Use - Candle Wax Dye
The Inpex Deep and the Fluorescent candle making dye flakes are paraffin based. Just add to candle wax at a ratio of 1g of dye to 100g of wax; the melting point of the dye is 65°C. The SD dye is for use with the natural waxes and should be added at a ratio of 1g to 2g of dye to 100g of natural candle making wax, the melting point of the SD dye varies with each colour with the Red having the highest melt point of 90°C. The whitener dye is for making opaque white wax a much sharper white, mix at 0.5g to 1g of dye to 100g of wax. The Whitener Dye will not work very well with cream coloured wax such as the Chandler Grey PRO Container Wax.
Inpex® Fluorescent - Candle Wax Dye
The fluorescent candle dye may not glow in the dark but it is still very bright. The fluorescent dye flakes are 45p per 5 grams, order over 50g of a colour and it is then 7p per gram.
Inpex® SD - Candle Wax Dye
The SD dye is for use in natural wax, it comes in flakes in multiples of 20g's. Mix at 1-2g of dye per 100g of wax the more dye the deeper the colour. The natural wax will not give a very deep colour like paraffin wax does. Some natural wax will frost over leaving a white residue, test the wax you are using.

Inpex® - Whitener
Whiten the Chandler Grey 280P, or Blended paraffin wax for an extra white extra clean looking white candle. Available in multiples of 20g, mix at 0.5g to 1g of dye per 100g of wax. Using the Inpex Whitener candle dye may result in the need for a larger wick than normal. £2.79 +VAT per 20g
