The WickWell NT range of wicks are designed for use in natural waxes. In particular, they are well suited to candles made using beeswax or other waxes. Beeswax often has a higher melt point in comparison to other natural waxes (such as soy) and therefore it is normal to find you must use a larger wick when making beeswax candles. More information can be found below in our wax pool guide. Candles made using stearin or natural candle sands – which often prove difficult to wick – can also burn successfully with the WickWell NT candle wick.

Options

  • Raw (Unwaxed) Wick – Specified number of metres supplied on a cardboard bobbin as a continuous, string-like wick. This format is for you to cut to the length you require and wax yourself.
  • Waxed & Tabbed Wickspre-waxed with natural wax and fitted with a 15 mm metal sustainer tab. Supplied in packs of 50. To order larger volumes, update the quantity as needed in multiples of 50 (i.e. x20 for a quantity of 1000). Lengths available: 80 mm, 120 mm, and 160 mm. The smaller NT sizes which are well-suited to making beeswax tealights are also available in a 30 mm pre-waxed height with sustainer fitted. Note that we are unable to offer the NT38 and above sizes pre-waxed as these wicks are too thick to fit through our in-house waxing machines.
