Chandler Grey® R4 Container Wax

The Chandler Grey R4 Natural Container Wax is a 100% natural wax made from sustainably sourced European rapeseed with natural additives. This wax provides an excellent finish, smooth glass adhesion, and exceptional hot and cold scent throw. Supplied in pellets, it is a one-pour wax, although some customers choose to apply a second pour to create a skin.

Key Characteristics

• Format: Beads
• Max Fragrance Load: Up to 10%
• Melt Point: 45–50°C (heat to 80°C)
• Pouring Temperature: 50–80°C (most customers pour around 60°C)
• Dye: Inpex SD Dye is most suitable (mix at 1–2g dye per 100g wax, depending on desired shade)

Wicking Recommendations

• For Chandler Grey R4 Wax, we recommend testing WickWell P2, TCR, and Wedo VRL wicks.
• The 1.016 Wooden Wick range is also suitable to test.
• Wick performance can vary depending on fragrance, dye, and additives—thorough testing is essential.
• We advise testing wick sizes above and below your expected size.

Tips & Troubleshooting

• For best results, pour into pre-heated containers.
• Pour slowly and allow the candle to cool gradually.
• Use a wick centering tool to ensure the wick remains perfectly centred.
