Chandler Grey® PRO Container Wax

The Chandler Grey PRO Container Wax is a creamy, smooth, one-pour container wax that provides excellent container adhesion, a smooth surface finish, and a powerful scent throw. Its low melting point (40–44°C) allows for an easy full melt pool when wicked correctly. This wax has been a best-seller for many years.

• Melt Point: 40–44°C
• Pouring Temperature: 65–75°C (many customers achieve the best results when pouring as low as possible, though this is personal preference)
• Dye: Inpex Dye is most suitable (mix at 1g dye per 100g wax)

Wicking Recommendations

• Wedo LX wicks are recommended for use with Chandler Grey PRO Container Wax.
• The 0.508 Wooden Wick range is also a suitable option to test.

Tips & Troubleshooting

• For best adhesion and to minimise wet spots, pre-heat your containers before pouring.
• Add fragrance oil just before pouring to reduce fragrance evaporation.
• If you experience dipping or sinkholes, this is often caused by pouring too hot—try lowering your pouring temperature.
• Environmental conditions can also cause sinkholes; ensure your candles cool in a room with a consistent temperature and no drafts.
• Container wax is designed to adhere to the container, whereas pillar wax is made to contract for easy mould release.
